Alonzo Mourning announced his retirement today. The 15-year NBA veteran has called it quits after trying to rehab his knee. It would be the 7-time All-Star’s second comeback, after returning from a kidney transplant in 2000. He’s not shy about sharing his testimony. A St. Louis columnist said he’s impressed by new head coach Steve Spagnuolo’s faith. (see #3) Here’s a story written about Spagnuolo last year by a regular CSO reader Art Stricklin. This year, Stricklin is once again at the Super Bowl, writing stories for Baptist Press, which I’ll strive to post ASAP for you here.
